An elevated post base connects a wooden post to a solid foundation, such as concrete or a wooden deck, while keeping the timber raised above the surface. This gap helps prevent water from reaching the wood, reducing the risk of rot and decay.

Post base features two square mounting plates with pre-drilled holes and a raised central standoff tube for high load capacity and stability. Hot-dip galvanised steel resists weather damage and corrosion, providing durable performance for years.

Elevated post base is bolted down to a solid foundation, concrete, or wooden floor using pre-drilled holes in the base plate. You can use it for building pergolas, gazebos, carports, patios, covered porches, garden shelters, verandas, and other structural mounting applications.

Position the lower plate on a solid foundation and mark the fixing holes. Secure the base plate with bolts. Place the wooden post onto the upper plate, then fasten it through the pre-drilled holes.
