Hold the arris rail bracket against the post at the required rail height, mark the fixing holes, then screw it to the post with galvanised wood screws so the cradle faces outward to receive the rail. Slot the pointed end of the arris rail into the bracket and secure it with the screws through the bracket wings or the rail. Set the rail level between posts and fix top and bottom rails the same way, keeping the bracket square so the panel or boards sit true.

A panel security bracket holds fence panels firmly in the post channel so they cannot be lifted out, deterring theft and stopping wind uplift, while an anti-rattle clip keeps the panel tight so it does not vibrate or knock in the wind. Both are screwed to the post or panel frame and grip the panel edge to remove movement.
