A 3-way pergola connector joins three timber members at one point, typically the top of a post meeting two beams to form a T or Y junction. It is used along the sides of a pergola, gazebo or carport where an intermediate post carries beams running in two directions. The connector keeps all three members aligned and braced for a rigid, square joint.

Three-way pergola connectors are made to fit standard square timber, most commonly 70×70 mm, 90×90 mm and 100×100 mm posts and matching beams. The bracket sockets should match your timber cross-section so each member seats fully. Measure your posts and beams first, as connectors come in size-specific versions.

Yes, 3-way pergola connectors are typically galvanised steel, which resists rust and suits outdoor pergolas, carports and garden frames. The zinc coating protects the bracket against rain and frost for long-term exposure. A black powder-coated finish is also offered in some ranges for a more discreet look.

A 3-way pergola connector is installed by seating the post and the two beams into the bracket and fixing through the pre-drilled holes with coach screws or bolts. Set the post first, position the connector on top, then drill pilot holes and drive the screws to lock the beams in both directions. Using every fixing hole gives the strongest T or Y junction.

It depends on the model — some 3-way pergola connectors come with the coach screws or bolts required, while others are supplied as the bracket only. Check the product description for included fixings and the recommended screw size. GeZu Impex lists the pack contents for each connector so you can order matching screws alongside it.
